Camping

Bass and Buck Adventures offers 5 campsites spread out along the Grand River in Southern Geauga County. About 1 hour from Cleveland.   The river has carved a 2 mile long valley that provides a great place to hike, explore, and just relax with the family.

Campsite Tour

Clip Clop

ClipClop includes a 13' Bell tent, wood platform, two cots, interior lighting, fire ring and picnic table.  The tent will be set up and ready for your gear when you arrive. This site is nestled in the woods between the river and a bank. It provides a secluded place to enjoy your time outside, yet is only a few hundreds yards from the parking and porta-potti.

Big Bend

My personal favorite . Big Bend lies along a large gradual bend in the river giving you a picturesque view in both directions. Big Bend is also close to the porta-potti, and has a trail that you can drive an SUV or Suburu type car to. This site is about a half mile from the road providing extra quiet to enjoy natures sounds.   There is a rustic picnic table and benches, along with a fire ring.

Deep Woods

Deepwoods is a secluded campites nestled along the Grand River.  A great site to connect with everything wild. This site is about 3/4 walk from the parking area.  We have a wagon to help get your gear to the site.  A traditional Jeep can be driven to Deepwoods.  There are two shallow river crossings.   There is a fire ring and a picnic table.

Lake View

Lake View is tucked away on a hillside at the end of our 3 acre lake. If you like to fish from your camp site this is the spot for you.  Only a few hundreds yards from the parking area and porta-potti.  There is a fire ring and a picnic table.  The 1850's Clinton Railroad earthworks are still visible on this part of the property.

Hidden Valley

Hidden Valley is our most secluded site. This small valley's steep walls were carved by a cool spring fed stream.  This site is about 1 1/4 mile walk from the parking area.  We have a wagon to help get your gear to the site.  There is a fire ring and a picnic table.  A traditional Jeep can be driven to within 50 yds of the site.  There are two shallow river crossings.

Breakfast never tastes better then when cooked over an open fire.  After breakfast you can start exploring, meeting new friends and finding cool new wonders.

If you rise early and the conditions are just right you may get to see a cool natural ballet!
